A successful stain job has a lot to do with the condition of the con rete before the staining process begins. With new concrete the slab must be cured for a minimum of 14 days before stain can be applied. Because concrete concrete can retain excess moisture in the first month as it is curing, staining before that time period could possibly produce colors that don't match the color chart.
If the job requires a pattern or lines to be scored into the slab, this should be done prior to staining.
Once the concrete floor is stained and cleaned the concrete is ready to be stained. |
